IT specialist AiMTech has become a Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) verified supplier.

The RISQS certification is the latest success story for the recently set up providers of first-class IT services for the SME market.

The UK rail’s supplier assurance scheme RISQS is run by the industry, for the industry, under the stewardship of RSSB.

It is central to the safe and cost-effective procurement of railway products and services, providing assurance for dozens of buyers to do business with confidence with over 4,000 suppliers.

Kevin McAuley, business development manager at AiMTech, said: “We are delighted to have become a RISQS verified supplier.

“It proves our credentials in wanting to serve the rail industry to the highest of standards and that we are capable providers for companies IT solutions.”

AiMTech was set up in January 2020 by Arron Marsden, the former global IT manager within the railway OEM market, who has brought together over 20 years’ experience of providing IT solutions for businesses.

Kevin, who joined the company in the summer, said: “We offer everything from infrastructure support and cyber security, through to remote support and a bespoke IT strategy.

“It’s going really well so far and we are enabling our customers to grow by supporting their business needs in an agile way, providing first-class business services.”
